Going back to work after a loss – Infographic

The last year hasn’t been easy for anyone. We’re all going through something, whether we’ve been isolated or trying to help kids get through school or lost someone for whatever reason. And it’s dishonest to say that you can be going through things at home that take a lot from you mentally, emotionally, and physically, and that somehow it won’t have an effect on you during your work day. It does and it will and you have to balance how to manage those personal things with managing the demands made on you by your boss, co-workers, and clients. It can be hard.
For starters, understand that anything you’re going through can and will be complicated. That’s the very definition of emotional stressors.  If you’re at work, and you need some time to let your emotions out, then it’s good to talk with co-workers or your boss about a safe space.
